Food Ministry

Charity in Faith provides food through our food ministry to people who are in-need. We source, package and deliver food to the needy in San Diego County and the Tijuana region. We derive our inspiration from our belief that Christian faith is not completely fulfilled if it is not expressed through charitable work.

In San Diego, we source food that is delivered to us via commercial trucks to our warehouse in Otay Mesa. We package the food into individualized bags for distribution. Our food ministry then delivers the packaged-food to individuals who are in-need and who desire to receive our food. These people include, but are not limited to, poor families in the neighborhood of Barrio Logan in San Diego, migrant day workers, Haitian refugees, poor mothers, and the homeless, etc.

In Tijuana, we purchase food from a wholesale provider that sells food to restaurants. We purchase large quantities of food and have it directly transported via commercial trucks to a Catholic orphanage.

On an annual basis, we are able to give away over 35,000 meals to the needy in the County of San Diego, as well as the Tijuana region.
