“I will show you my faith

by my works”

Letter of James, 2:17 – 18

CHARITABLE WORK

We seek to reflect our Christian faith through our charitable work which mainly consists of providing food through our food ministry, diapers through our diaper ministry, and toilet paper through our toilet paper ministry.

FOOD MINISTRY
We give food to the needy in San Diego County and the Tijuana region.  In San Diego, the food we source is delivered to us via commercial trucks to our warehouse which we have access to in Otay Mesa. From there, we package the food into individual units (bags or boxes) for distribution. Once it is packaged, we then deliver the food to people we have identified as needy and who desire to receive our food. In Tijuana, the food we source is purchased from wholesale-providers which sell food to restaurants in Tijuana. Because the food we purchase is from wholesale-providers, we purchase relatively large quantities of food and have it directly shipped via commercial trucks to people we have identified as needy and who desire to receive our food. People to whom we have delivered food include a Catholic orphanage in Tijuana, poor families in the neighborhood of Barrio Logan in San Diego, migrant day workers, Haitian refugees in San Diego, and the homeless in San Diego, etc.

On an annual basis, we are able to give away over 35,000 meals to the needy in the County of San Diego, as well as the Tijuana region.

DIAPER MINISTRY
The diapers we source are delivered via commercial trucks to our corporate headquarters in Chula Vista. Once they arrive, from there we then deliver the diapers to people we have identified as needy and who desire to receive our diapers. People to whom we have delivered diapers include poor families in the neighborhood of Barrio Logan in San Diego, Haitian refugees in San Diego, and needy-mothers/fathers who are served by Baby’s Room at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, etc.

On a yearly basis, we are able to give away in excess of 90,000 diapers to the needy.

TOILET PAPER MINISTRY
The toilet paper we source is delivered via commercial trucks to our warehouse in Otay Mesa. Once it arrives, from there we then deliver the toilet paper to people we have identified as needy and who desire to receive our toilet paper. People to whom we have delivered toilet paper include orphans at a Catholic orphange in Tijuana, poor families in the neighborhood of Barrio Logan in San Diego, Haitian refugees in San Diego, and needy-mothers/fathers who are served by Baby’s Room at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, etc.

Annually, we are able to give away in excess of 5,000 rolls of toilet paper to the needy in the County of San Diego, as well as the Tijuana region.
